Why just for kids?

So Wall-E hasn't even come out yet and I'm obsessed. I can't help it. That damn robot is so cute. I can't handle it. I was browsing the Disney Store website and they don't have any clothes for adults. So rude. Why do kids get all the cute stuff?! Anyways, I think I might just get the shirt in the biggest size it comes in and see if it'll fit me. Haha. Ya these are made for like 7 year olds. I'm 24. What. I don't see the problem. So cute!
This one is pretty cute too but the blue one is my fav!And can I just mention how slow the Disney Store website is?! It's PAINFUL! No wonder these kids spend hours on it. It takes hours for the pages to load. And damn it Disney. Older people want to wear 'I heart Wall-E' shirts too! Stop discriminating.

How to reuse your paper bag

According to Chipotle, the paper bag they gave me my lunch in may also be used for the following:
  1. Cat carrier
  2. Put handles over ears...hands-free burrito eating
  3. 401(k) statements filing receptacle
  4. NOT recommended as a parachute
Who knew? There you go kids. The next time you go to Chipotle and get it to go (you have to buy more than one), feel free to use your bag in any of ways listed above.

Designer clothes make me sad

I saw this Marc by Marc Jacobs dress in the June issue of Glamour magazine and decided that I needed it for a friends wedding in September. Said friend has decided her wedding requires cocktail dresses hence making this dress PERFECT. Then I cried my eyes out when I discovered that it's over $500! So mean. As much as I love this dress and have a deep appreciation for Marc Jacobs, I cannot and will not spend over $500 on a yellow brocade dress.
If only the clothes were just a little cheaper. Not a lot because then everyone could wear them but just enough so that I don't have to skip paying rent to afford a garment.

Summer Lovin

Ok Curvy Ladies...here's you chance to look sooo fab this summer. I discovered these dresses last night while in a total man-related funk. And theses dresses did a great job adding a little happiness to my otherwise horrible night.
So Rachel Pally is a fabulous designer of summer dresses. And until now she only designed for skinny bitches. Now Nordstrom is carrying her line for us super sexy bitches. Here are a few of the dresses I love. You can find more here.

Bow down to the mighty Celtics

So everyone knows that I hate the Lakers. And more specifically, Kobe. I absolutely adore Kevin Garnet and I was so happy when the Celtics made it to the finals. I wanted KG to get a ring so bad. He deserves it. I was ecstatic when the Celtics SLAUGHTERED the Lakers on Tuesday. That was great. Even though I would have loved a close, nerve-racking game, a blow out was just as satisfying. And it was adorable when KG was crying. So good to see so many players get a well deserved title. Very exciting.
So Ray Allen and KG were on Letterman last night and it was pretty funny. They were talking about old Celtic legends, uniforms, etc. David Letterman said that the Celtic uniforms were perfect and that there really wasn't anything you could do to make them better. He then compared the Lakers jerseys to dental hygienists. Haha. So fantastic.

p.s. I think it would have been nice if KG got MVP for the playoffs. Just saying...
p.s.s. I love that Kobe got his 'well deserved' MVP trophy and then didn't win. Haha.

Who are these made for???

Chickie bought me a pair of Paige jeans for my birthday and I finally was able to take them to the tailor. Who on earth did these designers think were going to be wearing these jeans?! Basketball players?! I'm sorry. I had my new jeans hemmed to the length appropriate to wear my Converse, and my tailor is seriously going to take off a good 5 inches. That is insane. I want to know who gets these jeans and doesn't have them altered. I'm really curious. My tailor had the best response. He said "these designers keep me employed." Haha! He's so great.

Ode to the Fail Blog...

I swear. If I'm ever having a bad day, I just look at this blog. If you've never been to the site, do yourself a favor and go. Now.
These 2 pictures don't even need explanations about why they're so hilarious.

Up here silly. Hahahahaha. That makes me laugh for days.

Stick 'em up

I got an email this morning about these cool wall decals. They are basically giant stickers that make your wall look pretty without having to paint or be permanent. I saw this one on Urban Outfitters a while ago.

Pretty cool but pretty safe. I like the ones from the site Pop Cling better. How cool are these???

I'd love to have one of these on my giant, bare living room wall. Perhaps I'll get one.

p.s. I'm kind of obsessed with that bedroom. How fabulous is that space?!

You Better WORK!

Ok, ok, I've been MIA for a while now. And I know Shug is "this" close to firing my ass. But I'm back ok?
So, work is what's been keeping me from giving you a regular dose of my commentary. And speaking of work, when the hell is Rihanna going to get a fabulous ad campagin a la J Lo for Louis Vuitton? I mean really, just look at this chick! She's fabulous. I expect her to appear in a glamorous ad campaign in the very near future.

And the winner is...

Dun dun dun dun!!!! Yaaaaaaaay Stephanie! So glad she won. She is so great and never changed her attitude throughout the whole show. Very refreshing.
For all of you that watched last night, how nervous were you that the evil bitch was going to win?! They made it look so close. I couldn't believe how much they were kissing her ass. Terrible. So glad that Stephanie won.
Poor Richard. He looked DEVASTATED. I feel bad for that guy. The whole time he's like 'I'm doing this for my pregnant wife whose at home supporting us.' Poor thing. Well, he got a car. That's something right?

Please pack your knives and go

Tonight is the night someone, Stephanie :) , will finally be given the title of Top Chef! VERY exciting. I have been watching this show for 3.5 seasons now, missed half of the first season, and I am completely obsessed. It's so great. It's the Project Runway of food. Yes, it's that good!
I am still dumbfounded as to how the bitch, aka Lisa, has made it to the top 3. It's really quite sad. She's so terrible and so difficult to watch. She says things on tv that I can't believe. Like she got mad at Stephanie and Richard for not congratulating her for basically not being sent home last episode. Seriously?! Everyone hates her. Ugh. She's super annoying and abrasive.
Hopefully Stephanie or Richard will win. I must say, I love Stephanie and really want a girl to win. I'm not usually on the 'girl power' train but it would be cool if she won because she'd be the first girl. Impressive.
Go Stephanie! (And Richard!) Throw things at Lisa :)

What the Ork???

I saw these posters at the Union Street Fair and now I kinda want one for my living room. They show your city and break it down by district. Very cool. Observe:

You can get one of these super cool posters here.
